) (LSE LSE - Language Sensitive Editor :ACM) triumphed to win the Grand Prix for Best Smaller Company Investor Relations award. It was one of four companies short-listed for the award.

The award was received by Lyndsay Wright, Acambis' Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations at a glittering ceremony held at London's Old Billingsgate Billingsgate (bĭl`ĭngzgĭt, –gāt), wharf and fish market, London, England, on the north bank of the Thames River. The market was named after a river gate in the old city wall.  and attended by more than 800 IR-related professionals. TV personality Jimmy Carr presented the winners with their awards.

The competition was judged by analysts and fund managers who were tasked with selecting the company that, in their opinion, has the 'best overall IR' in the category. The Best Smaller Company IR award is one of three "Grand Prix" awards, the other two being "Best overall IR" and "Best FTSE FTSE
