, announced today that subject to shareholder approval there will be a five-for-one forward split. All shareholders of record at the close of business of May 29, 2000 will receive five shares for each one owned. The date of distribution is set for June 5, 2000.

Academy Resources, Inc. is also using the stock to make strategic acquisitions. This stock split will contribute additional market value to our common stock by attracting new investors.
