 senior soccer player Brian Sarber recently was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas NCAA III Scholar All-America Team as a College Division Second Team recipient.

Sarber was also named to the NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-South Region First Team.

An accounting major with a 3.84 grade point average, Sarber is Ozarks' first NSCAA NSCAA National Soccer Coaches Association of America (since 1941; Mission, Kansas)

 Scholar All-America selection. The award marks his latest academic honor, as Sarber was also named an ESPN The Magazine ESPN The Magazine is a bi-weekly sports magazine published by the ESPN sports network in New Britain, CT in the United States. The first issue was published on March 11, 1998.  Academic All-America Third Team honoree, American Southwest Conference The American Southwest Conference (ASC) is a College Athletic Conference, founded in 1996, whose member schools compete in the NCAA's Division III. The schools are located in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi.  Men's Soccer Distinguished Scholar-Athlete winner, ASC ASC Ambulatory surgery center, see there  All-Academic Team member and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team honoree.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound goalkeeper from Allen, Texas, was an All-ASC First Team pick in his senior campaign after finishing second in the ASC in goals against average (0.77) and saves percentage (.866). He ranked third in shutouts with eight. Sarber helped the Eagles (14-34) to four straight playoff appearances during his career.
