Acacia Technologies Licenses Digital Media Transmission Technology to iFilm; Licenses Leading Internet Video Streaming Company.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG)(Nasdaq:CBMX) announced today that its Acacia Technologies group, a technology licensing company, has entered into a license agreement for its Digital Media Transmission ("DMT") technology with iFilm Corporation. iFilm, a leading entertainment destination on the Web, has investors that include Axiom Ventures, Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Liberty Digital, Rainbow Media, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Vulcan Ventures, Inc.
