Abusive fan escapes ban; FOOTBALL.


A FOOTBALL fan who hurled racist abuse at a player has escaped a three-year ban from matches.

League bosses wanted foulmouthed foulmouthed

 Stephen Kitchen, 24, barred from games. But the Preston fan who admitted shouting: "You black ****" was fined pounds 150 instead.

Kitchen was arrested after a policeman heard the abuse when Preston played at Norwich on November 8.

A league spokesman said: "If anyone has been racist or violent they should have to face a ban. We're working hard to stamp out to put an end to by sudden and energetic action; to extinguish; as, to stamp out a rebellion s>.
