The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH ADACH Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage ), is set to host the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee of Intangible Heritage of the Unesco from September 28 to October 2. The meeting emphasises the role of Abu Dhabi as one of the major culture and tourism centres in the world, and is in line with the directives of general Sheikh sheikh or shaykh Among Arabic-speaking tribes, especially Bedouin, the male head of the family, as well as of each successively larger social unit making up the tribal structure. The sheikh is generally assisted by an informal tribal council of male elders. The meeting will also select the programs and activities that the committee deems as representative of the principles and goals of the agreement to preserve human intangible heritage, as the committee hopes to undertake good practices to raise public awareness of intangible heritage.
