An absorbent article was recently granted a patent. It features a liquid impervious backsheet, a liquid pervious topsheet joined to the backsheet and an absorbent core disposed intermediate to the topsheet and the backsheet. A thermal cell actuator is on or adjacent to at least a portion of the article to effect a change in at least one property other than temperature in at least a portion of the absorbent article. The article has a pocket into which the thermal cell actuator may be inserted.
