GENERAL INFORMATION FOR THE AUTOMATED DRY LAMINATION EQUIPMENT DIVISION:

The Company's specialized Automated Dry Lamination Equipment division was designed and built for the specific purpose of applying safety and/or security film laminates automatically to the glass surfaces of tempered or regular plate glass. The major advantage of the Automated Dry Lamination Process is to reduce the actual time required to laminate laminate,

a piece of glass. By reducing the actual lamination time, labor costs are reduced dramatically. This equipment utilizes the latest technology and gives Absolute Glass an edge in its industry. This specialized machinery automatically compresses the safety and/or security film laminates onto the glass as the glass passes through the uniquely designed and fabricated fab·ri·cate

rubberized compression rollers. The safety and/or security films are applied to the glass in a dry laminating process (no water is used), which forces the laminated film adhesives directly into the glass surface at extremely high pressures. Once the safety and/or security laminated film has been applied to the glass, the automated conveyors remove the glass from the clean room environment. The new film laminate and glass combination is immediately ready for shipping upon completion of this process. This new process is now available for governmental, industrial, commercial, residential and other types of specialty glass application needs.
