Our cover art, entitled "Girl With Black Hair," was created by award-winning artist Caroline Richards, 13, of Zebulon, North Carolina. A student at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School, Caroline glued magazine scraps together to create her Colorful collage collage (kəläzh`, kō–) [Fr.,=pasting], technique in art consisting of cutting and pasting natural or manufactured materials to a painted or unpainted surface—hence, a work of art in this medium. of a woman. Why not try making a collage of your own?
