About Fr. Gruner: From John Carroll. (Letters to the Editor).

I enjoy Catholic Insight and read every issue from cover to cover. The articles are most interesting and are dealt with in a clear and straightforward manner. However, I was disappointed with the November November: see month.  article about Fr. Nicholas Nicholas, Russian grand duke
Nicholas (Nikolai Nikolayevich) (nyĭkəlī` nyĭkəlī`əvĭch), 1856–1929, Russian grand duke and army officer; first cousin of Czar Alexander III and grandson of Czar

previously read a fair amount from Fr. Gruner, I would have taken your article at face value, shrugged my shoulders and gone on to the next issue.

I realize that controversy with Fr. Gruner exists, but I believe he is a strong, good and holy Catholic. Believe me, I love my Catholic faith and I see no threat in this regard from Fr. Gruner. On the contrary I see him as a strong force for our Catholic faith. I do think Fr. Gruner makes a very compelling case for the Consecration of Russia The introduction to this article provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject matter.

not having been done as asked for by Our Lady, and doubt there were assurances to the contrary by our beloved Pope or Sr. Lucia. I believe the world problems we are seeing first hand can be attributed to the fact that the proper consecration has yet to be done. Personally, I can't understand what the problem is; just do it correctly! This way, Fr. Gruner's mission is complete and we can enjoy a period of world peace.

Why is Fr. Gruner treated the way he is? I have asked this of many priests who, I feel, are fairly close to me. I have yet to get one answer that I can find that makes any sense to me. Granted I might be missing something; but, as an engineer, I like facts and the facts I FACTS I Federal Agencies' Centralized Trial-Balance System  have don't add up. Let's give Fr. Gruner some latitude latitude, angular distance of any point on the surface of the earth north or south of the equator. The equator is latitude 0°, and the North Pole and South Pole are latitudes 90°N and 90°S, respectively.  and the benefit of our prayers and understanding.
