This event will feature the antiques, furniture, art pottery, Delaware art, political ephemera and memorabilia, and personal effects from the Carvel estate.

The auction will be showcasing items such as a 10 piece mahogany dining room set and sideboard, a mahogany slant-front desk carved with the State Seal of Delaware, a Van Briggle Pottery collection, as well as paintings by Delaware artist Henry Progar and other Delaware artists.

Other noteworthy items to be offered at the auction will be items of political history including important letters and telegrams from Presidents Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, and Clinton. There will also be signed and unsigned photographs of former Presidents, and over a half dozen scrapbooks put together by Mrs. Carvel that spans Gov. Carvel's political career.
