Able Electronics Announces the Promotion of George Laurie to Vice President of Manufacturing.

HAYWARD, Calif. -- Able Electronics Corporation, a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, today announced the promotion of George Laurie to Vice President of Manufacturing.

In his new position, Mr. Laurie will be responsible for both the Hayward and Mexico manufacturing operations and will continue with the core implementation of Able's processes and systems to support delivery, quality and customer cost objectives. Laurie, who joined Able Electronics in February 2000 as Director of Manufacturing, will continue to report directly to Peter Dennis, president and COO.

Mr. Laurie has over 35 years of manufacturing operations and manufacturing engineering experience. He has extensive experience in PCBA, Fiber Optics and DFM, with long tenure in the electronics industry.
