Abilities Expo /Minnesota to Be Held September 12-14, 2008.NEW YORK -- Abilities Expo/Minnesota, the one show dedicated to educating and improving the lives of people with disabilities, senior citizens, their families & caregivers, as well as healthcare and education professionals, is back! The three-day event will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center The Minneapolis Convention Center is a large convention center located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is located one block off of Nicollet Mall near Orchestra Hall. in Minneapolis, Minnesota from Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14, 2008. The event will focus on Sports & Recreation. Some of the show highlights include: * Pre-conference workshops hosted by RESNA RESNA Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (formerly Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America) on Thursday Sept 11th for professionals to gain their CEU's. * BLAST will announce the 2008 winners of the Golf Express Golf Cart and the $5,000 Accessible Vacation for two sponsored by Freedom Shores.
