COVENTRY have a change of opposition for Saturday's opening pre- season game at the Butts Park Arena The stadium was built in 2004 and currently has two stands. The East Stand has a capacity of 3000 and includes a number of conference and banqueting facilities. The West Stand is currently only a temporary structure holding 1000. , with Welsh Premiership side Aberavon taking the place of Caerphilly Caerphilly (kīrfĭl`ē, kär–), Welsh Caerffili, town (1981 pop. 42,376) and county borough, 108 sq mi (279 sq km), S Wales. .

The Wizards, captained by second row Chris Gittins, will offer a sterner test than Division One Caerphilly who withdrew over the weekend but offered the game to Aberavon whose own fixture had also fallen through.

Cov are offering a three-for-two on their pre-season games at the Arena.

Fans can buy tickets for all three matches against Aberavon (individual match price pounds 5), Bristol (August 16, pounds 8) and Northampton (August 20, pounds 8) at a block cost of pounds 16 before this Friday evening, August 12.

In addition, season tickets can be bought at any of the three games with the price of entry for that match taken off. An adult season ticket for the East stand (pounds 133) will cost pounds 128 if bought at the Aberavon game.
