Abdullah likely to be ANF's candidate: Sancharaki.

) led by Pir Syed Ahmad Gillani had discussed the likelihood of reaching on a consensus on a joint candidate for presidential poll.

It is being said that famous Afghan politicians and leaders of some political parties took part in the meeting which was held in Gillani's house including Professor Burhanuddin Rubbani, Pir Syed Ahmad Gillani, Syed Hamid Gillani, Dr Anwarul Haq Hadi, Dr Abdullah Abdullah, Mustafa Zahir, Syed Hussain Anwari, Syed Mahmood Gillani, Syed Ishaq Gillani, Mohammad Younas Qanooni, Shekh Asif Muhsini, Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq is a high-ranking official of the Hizb-e-Wahdat political party of Afghanistan. He came to prominence during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the Afghan Civil War, becoming one of the two most prominent Hazara warlords during the 1990s alongside Abdul , Maulvi Khyber, Abdul Hadi Arghendiwal, Qudratullah Zaki, Syed Noorullah Agha, Tamim Samimi and other well-known figures took part in a multi-party convention held at Pir Syed Ahmad Gillani's residence. Mohammad Akbari, an MP was also supposed to take part in the meeting but he told this news agency that he didnt take part in the meeting.

 was established some two years back and was headed all along by former president and leader of Jamiat-i-Islami, Professor Burhanuddin Rubbani. The party is consisted of former Jihadi Adj. 1. jihadi - of or relating to a jihad  leaders and members of former soviet backed communist regime.
