Abdul Kalam meets Dalai Lama.Byline: ANI Dharamsala, Jan 3 (ANI): Former President A P J Abdul Kalam met Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama Dalai Lama (dä`lī lä`mə) [Tibetan,=oceanic teacher], title of the leader of Tibetan Buddhism. Believed like his predecessors to be the incarnation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, 1935–, here on Friday. The spiritual leader received Kalam at Kangra Airport and accompanied him to his official residence. The duo shared their thoughts during the one-hour journey from the airport to the abode One's home; habitation; place of dwelling; or residence. Ordinarily means "domicile." Living place impermanent in character. The place where a person dwells. Residence of a legal voter. Fixed place of residence for the time being. of the Dalai Lama. "His Holiness Dalai Lama, I think, his thoughts I appreciate. His spiritual values are very important for every nation," said Kalam. Later, he left for Hamirpur town, where he will take part in the convocation of the National Institute of Information and Technology on Saturday. This is Kalam's second visit to Himachal Pradesh following his December 2004 tour as President.
