) today announced that they have been awarded a 2003 Outstanding Quality Award from Abbott Laboratories Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT) is a diversified pharmaceuticals and health care company. It has over 65,000 employees and operates in 130 countries. The corporate headquarters are in Abbott Park, Illinois, a neighborhood of North Chicago, Illinois. . Abbott Laboratories is one of the world's largest health care companies, employing more than 55,000 people and marketing products in more than 130 countries.

Cryopak was given this award for consistently providing high quality material to Abbott's Pharmaceutical Products Division. Eligibility for this award requires a 99% lot conformance rating for Non-Conforming Material Reports; a standard met by only 10% of Abbott's suppliers.
