Abandon Internet Group (AIG), a subsidiary of Abandon Entertainment, today announced its acquisition of the exclusive, worldwide rights to Tidex Systems' powerful and innovative Living Video(TM) technology.

A proprietary "engine" allowing video content to be displayed and interactively manipulated by the user, Living Video(TM) has initially generated several products for AIG, including Init Flix(TM) and Init Adventures(TM), immersive and experiential, multiple-plot stream programming.

The announcement was made by Marcus Ticotin, chief executive officer and president of parent company, Abandon Entertainment.

Living Video(TM) allows viewers to interact with filmed entertainment by branching and merging disparate video streams in a seamless flow. Within the flow, the viewer has full 360-degree roaming capabilities and not just the ability to pan from a single point, giving them complete control over their environment.

AIG's Living Video(TM)-enhanced products will further be improved through Abandon Entertainment partner, Mythic Entertainment, one of the leading online game developers operating in the marketplace today.

Among the first products being brought to the entertainment marketplace is Init Flix(TM), a dynamic, fully immersive Webcasting experience that turns viewers into "directors," offering them the ability to decide their "fate" from multiple plot streams.

Currently, Init Flix(TM), which will be syndicated to entertainment portals online, has a slate of properties in pre-production, including "Crazy Nights 90211," a hipster, adrenaline-filled cross between "Scooby Doo" and "Charlie's Angels" and "Mind's Eye," featuring the exploits of a telekinetic crime fighter. All series are composed of 10-15 "Webisodes," each containing specific choices that determine the ultimate outcome for the viewer.

Init Adventures(TM) also uses Living Video(TM), which layers computer-generated images (CGI) and artificial intelligence attributes on top of actual filmed footage for the most realistic, on and offline playing fields to date! Init Adventures(TM) will have the capability to produce interactive, massively multiplayer "challenges" against real filmed landscapes transporting players, for example, into the African outback.
