TV CHEF Clarissa Dickson-Wright is to appear in the comedy Absolutely Fabulous Absolutely Fabulous is a British sitcom written by and starring Jennifer Saunders and co-starring Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha, June Whitfield and Jane Horrocks. The Edinburgh-based cook said: ``I'll be deeply in character.

``I can't tell you much about it because it's under wraps except it's the last programme in the series and it's in a countryside setting.''

Clarissa, 56, will appear alongside the regular stars of the show Jennifer Saunders, who plays Edina, Joanna Lumley (Patsy) and Julia Sawalha (Saffy).

She added they were in stitches making the episode and was amazed they managed not to laugh while the cameras were rolling.

She said: ``It's so funny and enormous fun to make. How they don't corpse all the time I don't know.

``And Joanna Lumley is just the sweetest nicest person.''
