"Our Spanish language publications are obviously filling a need in Arkansas' Latino community," said Shefte. "We need to know how much the market has grown in relation to our Latino population increase in the last two years." Shefte said that the market survey will identify ways to better link smaller businesses to the average Latino purchaser. The study will also explore ways of making the online magazine a major revenue source. "When the survey is concluded we can better adapt our business plan to our long-range publishing goals," said Shefte Sisemore, who is leading the study, said important changes were recently made to both magazines in order to create a product that is more readable. "We've changed both the look and content of our magazines," said Sisemore, "and we're adding more distribution points throughout Arkansas to reach new areas of Latino growth populations."
