In addition to his NBA experience, Jones spent ten years with the National Football League, five years as Senior Manager of the Club Marketing division of NFL Properties where he was responsible for developing programs to enhance local marketing efforts, further brand development and increase promotional opportunities for NFL's business partners and teams. Jones also served a five year tenure with the NFL Players Association as the Assistant Vice President of Players Inc., the marketing company for the NFL player's union.
