Aardvark Medical, LLC Presents New Device for Sinus and Nasal Care at In3 Medical Device Summit.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Aardvark Medical, LLC, recently participated in the large medical device conference June 3-5. The Company presented its early stage device concepts based on patent-pending technology. The platform technology allows delivery of a comfortable medicated spray and an effective nasal suction to occur simultaneously or independently. It makes the age-old therapy of sinus and nasal saline irrigation effective, comfortable and therefore adoptable.

While sinus and nasal congestion have long been treated with prescription and over-the-counter remedies, most are costly and have side effects. Saline has been proven to be an effective, cheap and safe alternative, but current delivery strategies remain awkward, ineffective and uncomfortable. This is why many who would otherwise benefit from saline irrigation avoid it. Aardvark Medical's technology gets around these obstacles and closes this gap. The nasal product market is estimated to be over $500 million in the US alone.

The innovative platform and technology also have potential applications beyond the nose, such as ear cleaning, wound irrigation, and pulmonary and nasal drug delivery.
