Aardbewing.

Aardbewing

sy staan op 'n stukkie aarde
   die wind is ysig stil
myne, dink sy, en kyk na die
   blomme om haar

   as die wurm onderlangs begin
   wriemel
   en die bome begin
   buig
   wankel sy nie
haar oog vang die rysmiere wat
uitpeul en soos droe angs die lug in
   verdwyn
   haar nek buig agteroor
   duisende voels maaier in
   die lug rond iets
   pions in haar oop mond
   laat haar steier
   sy val agteroor begin
   op droe grond dryf en
   wieg en wankel
   graafloos word sy ingespit in
   haar aarde

die blomme gaan sit op haar graf
   myne, sing huile in
   die wind
