Aamaxan Transport Group Inc. Announces Placement of Equity Funds and Opening of Cimarron Tankers.

VAN BUREN, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1999--Aamaxan Transport Group Inc. (OTC BB: AAXM)

Rex Mason, CEO, announced the placement of $500,000 of equity funds into Aamaxan Transport Group Inc. by GEM Advisors Inc. with GEM Management (U.K.) participating as one of the investors.

The funding was arranged by Frank Speight of Speight & Associates of Ocala, Florida.

Mason further announced the opening of Cimarron Tankers Inc. and the appointment of Jerry Garrett as president. Garrett stated Cimarron will provide bulk tank trailer food service, including kosher, for manufacturers located in the Midwest and Western United States. General offices of Cimarron are located in Hurst, Texas.

Aamaxan is a regional trucking and warehousing company with headquarters in Van Buren, Arkansas.
