AZERI MOVE UP.


AZERBAIJAN moved off the bottom of World Cup qualifying Group Four courtesy of their first ever away win, at the expense of Liechtenstein in Vaduz.

Vagif Javadov and Elvin Mammadov were the men on target in the second half at the Rheinpark Stadion Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz is the national stadium of Liechtenstein. It plays host to the home matches of the Liechtenstein national football team, and is also the home of Liechtenstein's top football club, FC Vaduz.  as Berti Vogts' side leapfrogged their hosts at the foot of the table with a 2-0 success.

The result moved Azerbaijan on to four points and left Liechtenstein on two before Wednesday's final round of matches, which will see the pair host Russia and Wales respectively.
