AZCAR Technologies Incorporated Receives Letter of Intent for US$35 million DTH Facility.

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1997--AZCAR Technologies Incorporated (Alberta Stock Exchange, TSE AZZ.) AZCAR Technologies Incorporated, operating as IMMAD Broadcast Services, today announced the receipt of a letter of intent to design, project manage and implement a Direct To Home (DTH) terrestrial facility for a non North American client.

The US$35 million project includes design, supply and integration of baseband, LAN, Telco, subscriber management and security systems for the DTH facility, design, supply and integration of earth stations and civil works as well as architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering design and construction of a new building. IMMAD intends to subcontract the earth station works and the building construction. Completion and on-air date of the DTH facility is anticipated to be the fall of 1998.
