AXIS Healthcare Communications today announced the addition of Fusion Medical Education LLC to its family of healthcare companies.

Working in partnership with leading medical experts, universities, and medical specialty groups, Fusion develops CME meetings, training and preceptor programs, Web sites, books, videos, and other appropriate media, all of which are in strict compliance with the standards set forth by the ACCME, and the recommendations and opinions of the FDA and the AMA.

Through these programs, healthcare professionals will receive practical training and useful up-to-date clinical information, and they will earn credentials to meet their professional continuing education requirements.

Fusion's unique approach to medical education addresses the issues surrounding the information-disseminating practices of pharmaceutical companies, which in recent years have become topics of concern to medical associations, physicians and consumer groups, as well as state legislators.
