AXCESS Inc. Launches Integrated Asset Management Solution at ASIS Annual Seminar.

AXCESS Inc. (Nasdaq:AXSI) announced today that it will launch its asset management solution in Booth No. 2262 at the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Over the next three days, AXCESS will demonstrate the first combined CCTV and access control solution integrated on the corporate network or the Internet. The system joins Digital Video and active RFID enabling automatic tracking of people and assets as they enter and exit facilities and move within, verified with video recording. AXCESS will also feature its hands-free RFID gate access solution as well as demonstrate a new, faster video compression technique for remote video surveillance.

Through AXCESS Inc.'s acquisition of Prism Video, Inc.'s Digital Video technology, in July of this year, AXCESS now provides an entire family of digital video products in addition to its RFID offerings. Utilizing RFID, digital video surveillance, or an integration of the two technologies, AXCESS offers the ability to track and monitor people, assets and vehicles solving security problems for both large and small companies nationwide.

At the ASIS show, to demonstrate its asset management solution, AXCESS will feature a door demonstration showing linkage of assets to assigned personnel coupled with video verification of the event. The demo was designed to show the company's ability to track and monitor personnel and assets and identify when personnel depart with unassigned assets. The event triggers an alarm and activates AXCESS' Prism Video transmitter which captures the activity for evidence gathering and video verification. The Lan-Cam, also being introduced at the ASIS show, is a revolutionary Digital Video network camera that attaches directly to existing company TCP/IP networks or the Internet, to enable real-time viewing from any Windows 95, 98 or NT based PC. The company provides superior video compression technology for low bandwidth transmission so network performance is not impacted. The asset management solution from AXCESS integrates Digital Video/CCTV and active RFID technologies to not only track and monitor personnel and assets as they enter and exit a facility, but also, with the use of CCTV, record the events and gather evidence.

Also at the show, the company will display its newest offering in hands-free gate access control. The system being demonstrated utilizes an "all-in-one" approach to vehicle access control.
