AXCESS Exhibits at Annual ISC Security Industry Convention; New Software Product Nominated for New Product Showcase Award.

AXCESS Inc. (Nasdaq:AXSI), a leading provider of asset management products and solutions, announced today their participation in the annual International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC (1) (Internet Systems Consortium, Redwood City, CA www.isc.org) An organization founded by Paul Vixie, Carl Malamud and Rick Adams in 1994 and later sponsored by UUNET and other Internet companies. ), being held April 4-6 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. .

With an audience comprised largely of security resellers and integrators, the annual ISC show continues to be one of the largest and most effective gatherings within the security industry. AXCESS will be exhibiting in booth No. 2156 for the duration of the show and both AXCESS President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. AXCESS will be demonstrating products from the ActiveTag(TM) line of automatic identification technology, as well as digital video transmission and recording products from its Prism Video(TM) line. Included in the demonstrations will be an assortment of recent developments within each of the product lines. AXCESS will be displaying new activation antennas, designed to enhance the flexibility in asset containment systems. The recently introduced long-range ASIC-based tag, a 50% size reduction in AXCESS' tags, will be demonstrated to visitors at AXCESS' booth as well.

Recent developments within the Prism Video line will be on display - including immersive iPIX monitoring technology, which provides 180 degree pan/tilt/zoom capability without the need for a mechanical, domed camera. Additionally, AXCESS will demonstrate a new version of its video compression technology. The codec (1) (enCOder/DECoder) A hardware circuit that performs analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion. When analog signals are entered into a computer, cellphone or other device via a microphone or video source such as VHS tape or analog TV,  provides increased picture clarity without the need for additional bandwidth.

AXCESS' Onlinesupervisor service has advanced in the ISC New Product Showcase and will be in contention for the annual distinction. The service combines automatic identification data with streaming/recorded video to provide remote facility management to the desktop. Managers utilizing the service, either over the Internet or via their LAN/WAN LAN/WAN Local Area Network/Wide Area Network , will be able to monitor multiple facilities via streaming and recorded video; enforce facility-wide asset containment; and track vehicles and personnel. Unique event notification will immediately notify managers of any pre-determined threats via pager, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) A handheld computer for managing contacts, appointments and tasks. It typically includes a name and address database, calendar, to-do list and note taker, which are the functions in a personal information manager (see PIM). , email or cell phone.
