Hartz Mountain Industries Hartz Mountain Industries (HMI) is a private family owned and operated company known for its vast real estate holdings in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area. Its former parent Hartz Mountain Corporation (of pet products fame), was founded by German-American businessman Max  and Cushman & Wakefield jointly announced today that AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company (formerly The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States) was founded by Henry Baldwin Hyde in 1859. In 1991 a French insurance company, AXA, acquired a majority of The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. , the leading financial protection and wealth management firm, has renewed its 60,569-square-foot lease at 200 Plaza Drive located in Harmon Meadow in Secaucus, NJ.

AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company will remain in its office space on the entire first floor and part of the lower level.

The firm maintains support functions at the property.
