AWFS accepting entries for 2005 Student Design Contest.


The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers has begun issuing entry forms for the 2005 Student Design Contest to North American high The North American High is an impermanent high-pressure cell or anticyclone created by anticyclogenesis (anticyclone + the Greek word genesis, meaning "birth, origin"), a formative process that occurs when cool or cold dry air settles onto western North  schools and colleges. Winners will be honored at the AWFS AWFS Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers  Vegas Pair, July 27-30, 2005.

The theme for the contest is "Special Needs Furnishings," including, but not limited to, ergonomic ergonomic - Concerning ergonomics or exhibitting good ergonimics.  designs, designs for the elderly or physically challenged physically challenged

The period for initial design and construction was extended to the spring 2005 school term, however, projects must be completed between Sept. 1, 2004, and June 1, 2005. Projects must be composed of at least 50% wood or wood composites, excluding those in the upholstered furniture category.
