AW Computer Systems, Inc. Restructures Board of Directors.

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 28, 1996--AW Computer Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: AWCSA) today announced that effective immediately, the election of Frank Cappiello, Jr., Patricia Sunseri and Vincent Vidas to the Board of Directors and the subsequent resignation from the Board of Nick Ambrus, Mike Lutze, and Robert Hannon. Charles McMullin, Executive Vice President of AW, was appointed Chairman replacing the retired former Chairman, Nick Ambrus.

Commenting on the event, Charles Welch, President and CEO, noted that the new Board of Directors consists of a majority of outside directors and brings together a highly competent and professional group to lead in rebuilding and restoring AW's operations, thereby capitalizing upon the Company's position as a leading Point-of-Sale ("POS") solution provider and innovator.

Frank Cappiello, is an investment advisor and a well-known financial authority best known as a regular panelist of the television series "Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser". He is President of McCullough, Andrews & Cappiello, Inc., an investment counseling firm managing assets of $1.4 billion and Chairman of the Cappiello-Rushmore Funds. He is also a best selling author of several financial/investment books such as Frank Cappiello's New Guide to Finding the Next Superstock.

Patricia Sunseri, is Vice President of Mylan Laboratories Inc., an industry leader engaged in the development, licensing, manufacturing, and marketing of generic and proprietary finished pharmaceutical and wound care products. Mylan Laboratories is a public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange capitalized at over $2 billion.

Vincent Vidas, is co-founder, President and CEO of Semcor, Inc., headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Semcor is a multi-million dollar revenue technological engineering and management consulting firm with over 800 employees.
