Mason took the brunt of the serves from Walsh and May-Treanor, and after having to play in the final coming out of the more time-consuming contender's bracket, Mason ran out of gas. ``I was a little more fatigued coming into (the final),'' Mason said. ``We had to battle back in a lot of games. I didn't side out that well and that put a lot of pressure on our defense.'' Youngs said she enjoyed playing with Mason and that the two had a good tournament, but it took extra energy to feel out each other's style of play. ``We had to learn each other on the fly,'' Youngs said.
