AVIRNEX Appoints MARTEC, a Subsidiary of Marubeni Hytech, as an Authorized AVIRNEX Master Distributor.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 1997--AVIRNEX Communications Group of San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  and MARTEC Services Co. Ltd. a subsidiary of Marubeni Hytech of Tokyo, jointly announced the appointment of MARTEC Services an an Authorized AVIRNEX Master Distributor in Asia.

MARTEC will focus initial energies in Japan, with later rollout throughout Asia where Marubeni has interests.

MARTEC will distribute and service AVIRNEX telecommunications products to business customers in Japan utilizing AVIRNEX automated provisioning The ability to set up new communications services for customers automatically. Carriers use automated provisioning to set up their network based on customers' requirements. After connection is made, the receiving side breaks the connection and calls the sender to ensure that the logon was made from the authorized computer.
