AVC NOTEBOOK: MARAUDERS ROLL OVER .500.

It's been awhile, but the Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  football team is playing well again.

But AVC refuses to overlook a Mt. San Jacinto team that has been outscored by an average of 15 points a game, including a 63-0 loss against Grossmont two weeks ago.

The honor was Romo's first of his career and well-deserved after he completed 16 of 20 passes for 191 yards. His main target was Smith, who finished with eight receptions for 85 yards.

Day is no stranger to accolades, making the list for the second week in a row. The sophomore running back rushed for 191 yards and scored three touchdowns. For his efforts, he also was selected to the JC GridWire national player of the week list.

--Now or never: The women's soccer team enters the most important stretch of its season over the next two weeks, playing four Foothill Conference games on the road.

If the Marauders (4-5-2, 2-3) hope to be in contention after the trip, they'll need at least a of couple victories, considering there are just seven regular-season games remaining.
