Rogers, 20, led a field of 144 runners and walkers in the traditional Christmas-season event Dec. 20 at Marie Kerr Park, crossing the finish line in 16 minutes, 41 seconds. His former teammate, Zach Schroeder, 21, took second, just five seconds off Rogers' pace in 16.46.
