The prestigious Product of the Year award is presented by Electronic House magazine, one of the nation's leading, high-tech home electronics publications.

2006 marks the second time in as many years that AUTON has received the Electronic House Product of the Year prize. In 2005, AUTON received the award for its Ceiling Flip-Down System. The EH Product of the Year award is one of the most sought-after honors in the home theatre design and installation industry. Using stringent criteria that demands technological innovation, overall value, ease of use, and quality feature set, a panel of nationally recognized industry experts are charged with making the selections.

 system, AUTON'S Shadow Trak allows users to hide their plasma or LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) A display technology that uses rod-shaped molecules (liquid crystals) that flow like liquid and bend light. Unenergized, the crystals direct light through two polarizing filters, allowing a natural background color to show.  screens behind a movable painting or art panel that is activated using a hand-held remote control.
