AUTOMOTIVE PLANT CLOSING FUELS ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
LOS ANGELES, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- From the assembly line to Silver

Line, former UAW leader Kenneth Ham has taken the wheel to shape his economic future.
The recent announcement of the closing of the General Motors plant in Van Nuys, Calif., has inspired Ham to open Silver Line Limousine Service. Believing the "Quality is Job One," Ham used his savings and severance pay to begin what he views as an entertainment service.
Ham says that by providing the top of the line in stretch limos, Silver Line Limousine Service offers clients the luxury, comfort and peace of mind needed to have a platinum evening. The double wide body stretch limos come equipped with such amenities as videocassette recorder, electric bar, compact disc player, television and cassette deck.
Ham, who served as a labor leader for the past six years at GM, recalls being a leader even as a child. He is now using this drive to service and entertain the greater Los Angeles area. Ham views the end of his 18-year career at GM not as the end of the line but as a new avenue to success. He stresses that the nation's continued position as a global leader begins at home, with increased economic empowerment of all races and more people becoming entrepreneurs.
Spiritually grounded and clearly focused, Ham has the creativity and perseverance necessary to make Silver Line the golden choice among the stars. Providing service to recent winners of the Peoples' Choice Awards and the Oscars are just a sampling of the clients to whom he caters. Aspiring to be the premiere transportation service in Los Angeles, Ham plans to entertain corporate clients as well.
It is commitment to service and detail and using his expertise in the area of Total Quality Management that puts Ham and Silver Line Limousine Service head and shoulders above the rest.
