The FSS certification recognizes Automotive Industries' capabilities in developing and manufacturing high quality interior systems while maximizing product benefits and minimizing costs.
As a full-service supplier, Automotive Industries will have an expanded role in product development and coordination of Tier 2 supplier involvement, and will continue to work with Ford's core technology group to develop ongoing practices and procedures to support efficient program management processes.

The Ford FSS program seeks to increase product quality and customer satisfaction, improve engineering and manufacturing cost efficiencies, minimize engineering changes and shorten product development time. This will be accomplished by identifying a network of technically capable Tier 1 suppliers to help process major programs to specific Ford quality, cost and engineering targets.
