Authors who contributed to the Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  Historical Society's best-selling ``Simi Valley: A Journey Through Time'' will be on hand today to sign copies of the second edition.

The book signing will be held at the Strathearn Historical Park, 137 Strathearn Place, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The 512-page comprehensive history of Simi Valley, which contains hundreds of historic photos published for the first time, was compiled by historian Patricia Havens and photographer Bill Appleton.
