AUTHORITY LACKING FOR AUDIT BY CITY OF FLOAT GROUP.

GLENDALE- The city has no authority to audit the books of the Glendale Rose Float Association, officials have concluded after questions were raised about the group's finances.

 reported to the council Tuesday that since the nonprofit association receives no funds from the city and has no legal agreement or contract with Glendale, the city would not be able to order the association to submit to a city audit.
