Tuesday after the dogs were found feeding on the live pig, Los Angeles County animal control officials said. The dogs had chewed off the pig's ears and the flesh on its left hind leg, exposing the bone, officials said. ``They were all starving,'' said Gail Miley, manager at the Lancaster Animal Control and Care Shelter. Officials said they had visited the home Monday and left an order for the animals' owners to provide food and water for the dogs - four chows, a chow-Akita mix and a pit bull - and to get the pig veterinary care. Officials said they returned Tuesday and picked up all but one of the animals, still in need of food, water and care.
