Katsuhiko Harada, a 30-year-old resident of Tokyo's Adachi Ward, is suspected of failing to submit documents showing salary payments for six workers from March 2000 to February 2001 to the relevant municipalities. Harada runs his store in Tokyo's Taito Ward. The law requires employers to present such documents to local governments. The Public Security Bureau of the Metropolitan Police Department also searched 11 locations including AUM facilities in the capital and neighboring Saitama Prefecture for evidence to support the charge.
