LANCASTER - Auditions have been scheduled for several musical and stage productions in the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

--The Antelope Valley Master Chorale chorale (kōrăl`, –räl`), any of the traditional hymns of the German Protestant Church. The form was developed after the Reformation to replace the plainsong of the earlier service and as a means of congregational participation in  will hold auditions for singers interested in participating in a New York New York, state, United States

The choir will perform Handel's ``Messiah'' with several other choirs at the prestigious concert hall in February 2004. The combined choirs will perform under the direction of Jonathan Griffith, MidAmerica Productions conductor-in-residence. Trip dates are Feb. 28 through March 3.

Additionally, the Master Chorale has been selected to perform a 20-minute program under the direction of its own artistic director, David Newby, as a prelude to that concert.

--Auditions for the Lancaster Performing Arts Center's Best Of the Black Box Series ``Rock Around The Clock'' will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 22 and at 4 p.m. Nov. 23 at Antelope Valley Performing Arts Conservatory, 520 W. Palmdale Blvd. The show will run May 28-30 at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. Lancaster Blvd.

--Auditions for Antelope Valley College's One Act Festival will be held at the college, 3041 W. Ave. K: 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 21 in Room FA3 176 (Band Room) in the Music Building; 2 to 6 p.m. Nov. 22 in the college's Black Box in the Theatre Building; and 2 to 6 p.m. Nov. 23 in Room FA3 176 (Band Room) in the Music Building. --Auditions for Cedar Street Theatre's ``I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a comedic musical written by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts. It is presently off-Broadway's longest-running musical, second only to The Fantasticks among off-Broadway musicals. ,'' a musical revue of relationships, will be held at the Antelope Valley Performing Arts Conservatory, 343 E.
