Vacation packages have been donated to the auction ranging from a week in Australia to a cruise in the Amazon and a chance to swim with dolphins in Florida.

For music lovers, there will be guitars signed by Mick Jagger and the Village People and backstage passes for an 'N Sync concert. Entertainment fans can also vie for an invitation to a Hollywood premiere, lunch on the set of ``Days of Our Lives,'' or a walk-on part in the Fox television show, ``Titus.''

The first item scheduled to be sold at the live auction will be a special work of art created by Boys & Girls Club member Kevin Sweet. Sweet will present his oil painting of a cheetah cheetah (chē`tə), carnivore of the cat family, Acinonyx jubatus, native to Africa S of the Sahara and SW Asia as far east as India. , which he has been working on every day for two months.

``It's a beautiful painting and we are honored that he wants to donate it,'' said Judy Belue, the club's director of development.

Other auction items include diamond jewelry, entertainment packages and other items such as an Arabian horse or a street in Santa Clarita named for someone.

The auction will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at 28110 Kelly Johnson Parkway in the Rye Canyon Business Park, Valencia.
