AU-System Signs General Agreement With UPC in Sweden.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 2000

AU-System has entered into a general agreement with UPC Sweden UPC Sweden was a Swedish cable television distributor, mainly active in the Stockholm region. It was the second largest cable network in Sweden before it was integrated into Com Hem in 2006. , an international supplier of broadband services See broadband and broadband service provider. . The alliance covers a number of assignments related to technical development.

Under the agreement, which runs until 2002, AU-System will supply UPC (Universal Product Code) The standard bar code printed on retail merchandise, which is administered by GS1 US, Brussels, Belgium and Lawrenceville, NJ (www.gs1.org).  with project management services and will function as technical specialists and advisors for UPC's telephony projects.
