AU guardians forum features Nadine Strossen, Bill Press, Barry Lynn.


Americans United will hold a special forum in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Nov. 9, to assess the state of church-state separation in America. The event is AU's Second Annual Guardians Forum. It will feature a conversation between AU Executive Director Barry W. Lynn Reverend Barry W. Lynn (born 1948 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) has been the Executive Director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State since 1992.[1]  and Nadine Strossen, president of the American Civil Liberties Union American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), nonpartisan organization devoted to the preservation and extension of the basic rights set forth in the U.S. Constitution. .

Since becoming president, she has made more 200 public presentations per year before diverse audiences.

Political commentator and author Bill Press, former co-host of CNN's "Crossfire A multi-GPU interface from ATI for connecting two ATI display adapters together for faster graphics rendering on one monitor. During the event, Lynn and Strossen will offer thoughts on church-state separation in America today and field questions from attendees.

The event takes place at the Holiday Inn on the Hill, 415 New Jersey Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. A reception begins at 6, with the program to follow at 7:30.
