ATX Communications Forges New and Expanded Customer Relationships.

ATX Communications, a leading integrated communications provider, continues to prove its commitment to streamlining business communications with the addition of several notable new customers and the extension of existing relationships with loyal customers. These relationships span the Company's bundled voice, data, and Internet business offerings, while also illustrating a wide range of markets and industries.

Among the organizations that recently expanded their ATX services or switched to ATX for their integrated communications needs are the following:

-- RE/MAX 440, part of the RE/MAX global franchise network of

real estate agencies, specializes in properties across

Montgomery, Bucks, and Lehigh counties in Pennsylvania. RE/MAX

440 recently broadened its three-location voice account to

include ATX SmartPack(SM) bundled long distance and local

phone service as well as frame relay connectivity for all

eight regional offices.

-- Pennoni Associates, a consulting engineering firm with 12

offices throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and

Massachusetts and a long-time ATX customer, will continue

using the ATX CoreConnect(SM) Preferred Plus solution to

integrate dedicated long distance, local, and Internet

services. In addition, Pennoni uses ATX calling card,

toll-free, and point-to-point data services. Further, the

customer recently partnered with ATX to deploy a disaster

recovery solution, with co-location at one of ATX's

Philadelphia-based Network Operations Centers.

-- Chilton Memorial Hospital, a non-profit community medical

center with 256 beds, 500 physicians, and 1,000 allied-health

professionals, serves an 11-town area whose combined

population exceeds 150,000. Headquartered in Pompton Plains,

NJ, Chilton will continue to use the ATX CoreConnect(SM)

Preferred dedicated local and long distance package, along

with ATX private line service between the main facility and

its satellite hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. The hospital also

uses ATX's toll-free and cellular services.

-- Clipper Magazine, a free, direct mail coupon magazine

providing money-saving offers to roughly 100 million American

homes in 24 states, recently re-signed with ATX for dedicated

and switched long distance and toll-free services at its

headquarters in Mountville, PA, as well as "casual calling"

services for remote business call activity, tracking, and

billing.

-- Internet Transaction Corporation, a credit card processing

firm based in Columbus, Ohio, implemented a consolidated ATX

CoreConnect(SM) PRI (primary rate interface) solution

including dedicated long distance, three PRI circuits for

local phone service, and a full, high capacity (T1) connection

for broadband Internet access.

-- Oskar Huber Furniture, a retailer founded in 1927 with

locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, will

continue to leverage the Company's ATX SmartPack(SM) bundled

voice package at its headquarters in Southampton, PA, plus

four additional retail locations. An ATX customer since 1995,

the furniture chain also utilizes a digital PRI application at

its main office.

-- Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation, a professional

engineering services and technology firm, renewed its contract

for ATX dedicated broadband (T1) Internet connectivity at its

Warminster, PA headquarters and ATX SmartPack(SM) bundled

local and long distance at the main location as well as seven

satellite offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

-- Split Rock Resort, a four-season resort in Pennsylvania's

Pocono Mountains with facilities that include 426 guest rooms,

60,000 square-feet of meeting space, and 27 holes of golf,

extended its relationship to continue utilizing the ATX

SmartPack(SM) package for long distance and local phone

service.
