 attorneys will present six evening classes over the next six weeks on legal topics for the general public.

The Antelope Valley Bar Association's Citizen Law School series starts Monday and continues each Monday through July 14 at the Essex House Essex House can refer to:

Monday, family law by Susie Baumberger and William Koch.

June 23, contracts and consumer remedies by Dawn Reichman, Brian Reed and Kevin Von Tungeln.

June 30, criminal law, by Deputy District Attorney Steve Ogden and Alternate Public Defender public defender, governmental official who represents indigent persons accused of crime. U.S. Supreme Court decisions expanding the right to counsel to pretrial proceedings and holding that a person cannot be sentenced to even one day in jail unless a lawyer was  Avrum Harris.
