Neither young woman had been involved in the confrontation that sparked the shooting, Lemos said. ``They were definitely innocent victims,'' Lemos said. No suspects were in custody late Thursday. The bus had picked up several Centennial High School students and was stopped at Avalon Avenue and Imperial Highway when a youth stepped aboard and shouted gang slogans to a teen-ager in the back of the bus, Lemos said.
